Cuban Restaurant: La Esquina del Lechon
Location: 8601 Northwest 58th Street, Doral, FL 33166
Cuisine: Cuban
I’m going to start of by saying that I would consider this restaurant one of the best cuban resturants I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying. There is constant flow of people at whatever time you go. A bit out of the way, the location is surrounded by offices so many business-people on their breaks. I was recommend by a friend to try “Pollo al King” as my main course. I was told they have HUGE serving sizes so I opted out of trying anything else. This “Pollo al King” made me feel like the reigning king of doral. Perfect combo of a creamy white sauce with mushrooms and of course my favorite CHEESE! The service was great, they pride themselves on immediate attention and greet each new king with a smile. I’d give it 6 out of 10 SNAPS!

French Bistro: Cafe Pastis
Location: 7310 S. Red Rd. South Miami, FL 33143
Cuisine: French
This is French bistro was nothing but a delight. I had heard that it had been closed due to some discrepancies with the health department yet I decided to give it a chance anyways. The place is rather small and quaint, just as you would find anywhere in Paris. I started off with the French Onion Soup, once I was done I wanted 3 more cups of it but I knew I had to leave some room for my main course, Grilled New York Steak. Yes, I know you might be thinking what the hell? It’s a French restaurant. Well I was in the mood for some MEAT! The meat was alright but those pommes frites made me cry of happiness. The overall experience was good not great, I give it 4 out of 10 SNAPS!
Italian Bistro: Blú La Pizzeria del Sole
Location: 7201 SW 59th Ave. South Miami, FL 33143
Cuisine: Italian
Walking into this place I somehow developed an Italian accent and the owner became my migliore amico. Blu’s is somewhat of a hidden gem that spoils you with the most delicious food. I decided to start off with Fried Calamari, I’m not a fan of octopus but this little creature was fried to perfection just add some marinara sauce and POOF they are all the same. For my main course I chose the Margherita Pizza, I ate the whole pie I didn’t leave one slice for later or was I too full. I could say honestly without hesitation that it was the best wood-even baked pizza I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. I give it 7 of 10 SNAPS!
Thai Bistro: Bangkok Bangkok
Location: 12584 N. Kendall Dr. Kendall, FL 33186
Cuisine: Thai
This is the perfect version of Thai food made simple. Once you walk in your greeted with a warm smile and luring aromas that take control of your mind. I suggest you take in the full ambience and go with seating on the floor. The menu actually made me laugh out loud with their funky names such as “Bang Bang Disco Shrimp”. I chose to start of with some cook it yourself appy Satay, which boggled my mind because anything with fire is exciting. For my main course I had the Earth Wind and Fire, it was a light meal that didn’t fill you up completely which thankfully I had room left over for some warm Thai Doughnuts (orgasm on a plate). Frankly, this is a holy experience; the prices are excellent for the quality of food being served. I give it 6 out of 10 SNAPS!
